I saw Des O Connor yesterday evening and had a wonderful time. What a marvellous entertainer, so relaxed and a great talent. The audience relished every joke, song and showbiz tale. A great evenings entertainment. I really enjoyed seeing Ray Ellis get up on stage with him and participate in an inpromptu musical moment. Des is one of the greats, thank you for a lovely evening.

Hello to everyone at THE KING'S THEATER. Can I just say a very BIG THANK YOU for all your kind support that you have shown to THE TOM PRINCE CANCER TRUST.
A friend and I saw Doctor in the House tonight. I would imagine by the audience's response it was quite funny. Its a really pity because I am getting over a cold and a friend who was with me wears two hearing aids and could hear nothing bar the music. Admittedly we were in row N but one thing I will say about the Mayfair when somebody is so deaf they allocate seats in the front so the person can enjoy what they came to see and hear. The Kings really needs to do something to help these people it is so frustrating.

Saw Show today 18-4-12 I thought Joe Pasquale was brillent, he carried the performance on his own by interacting with the public, The only down side if any was the girl who played the Aussie, was a bit too loud, but there was lots of laughter a real tonic. Maybe this type of show could be something the theatre could do a little more offen hopefully, many thanks for today.

Would just like to echo Jan's comments on Madame Butterfly both praise and concern. Can I suggest that for seat pitch you look to some of seating changes that the airline industry have introduced. I have to admit that I am very likely to be back very soon (Looking back it seems to take me about three years to "forget") The seats themselves are taking up a fair proportion of the available space and I suspect that better designed more comfortable seats could be introduced providing more leg room without altering the infrastructure of the building. Perhaps this is a project to discuss with the engineering department of the University as a potential final year or post grad design challenge

:-) Absolutely loved Madam Butterfly. Co-incidence was that my friend brought her mum along (86 years old) and she informed us that when she was about 10, she played the child in Madame Butterfly on the stage of the King's Theatre, 75 years ago!!!. She remembers being in 2 shows, matinee and evening performance, and being told to keep still and not say anything. It certainly brought back memories for Grace!
