Hi I'm Ibby Spooner. I'm 13 years old and am in year 8 at school. I like acting, singing and history. I've been at KYT since it started and enjoy it immensely.
My part in Oliver is to help Jo-the director. I will help out by maybe taking a group of people to do a scene, give constructive criticism or pick out good things people did or are doing well with so they will know to do that in future. I am one of a big team of people who will be helping out behind the scenes to put together the musical.
Our first Oliver rehearsal included both junior and senior groups at KYT. The rehearsal did not go as well as it could have done as people were messing around for quite a majority of the time we had, but hopefully as time progresses people will take the time we have more seriously. In the rehearsal we did a dance and lighting workshop. Both of these and the other workshops to come will hopefully make the production better and with all the people who help back stage this production of Oliver will be the best play we have ever done.
