It’s a rock’n’roll circus!

The Bog Rolling Stones

Local bands the Bog-Rolling Stones, The Silver Beatles, Bemis and Kojak’s Revenge will perform as part of the Rock and Roll Circus – a concert in aid of the Tom Prince Cancer Trust.

Hosted by the Kings Theatre in Southsea, it is the biggest musical fundraiser for the charity.

One of the organisers, Andy Burgess, who is lead singer of the Bog-Rolling Stones and one of the trust’s patrons, said: ‘Because we are a Rolling Stones tribute band we always wanted to do a rock and roll circus with other bands like they did in the 60s.

‘And we thought it would be fun to hold it in an important local venue like the Kings.
