SHORTS::CUT is a screening of short films by film and video makers in the local region.  The first screening took place in November of 2005 as part of the Portsmouth Screen Festival of Film and New media, and it has grown ever since.  In its fourth year, Shorts::Cut is moving to the studio theatre of the Kings Theatre, Southsea.  The screenings are an opportunity for filmmakers in the region to get their work shown and for local audiences to see films made in and by the people in their area.  SHORTS::CUT is open to submissions all filmmakers in the area, from seasoned professionals to talented enthusiasts, and shows short films in any or  all genres: from dramas to documentary, animations to experimental films.  SHORTS::CUT is a great chance to see the wide range of projects and the wealth of production talent in the Hampshire, West Sussex and Isle of Wight area.
